Full tuition waiver scholarship, plus a freshman year stipend

  • No. 1 or No. 2 graduate of one of the following Comanche County high schools:
    Cache, Chattanooga, Lawton, MacArthur, Eisenhower, Elgin, Fletcher, Geronimo, Indiahoma, Sterling.

The Laura Fields Foundation Scholarship is a tuition waiver for up to 18 semester hours each fall and spring semester, (waiver is not available for the summer semester) and a $300 stipend for the freshman year only, which is applied toward fees. Awarding is based on the student’s certification as first or second rank in their graduating class as certified by his/her high school principal. The student is responsible for all fees. The scholarship is renewable for four years providing the conditions below are met, but not to exceed a total of 8 semesters or completion of a baccalaureate degree. Awarding and continuation of this award is contingent upon the recipient achieving and maintaining the following requirements:
1. The recipient must be an Oklahoma resident.
2. The recipient must be a first time, full time freshman student ranked first or second, in his/her graduating class, as certified by his/her high school principal and as noted on his/her final high school transcript.
3. The recipient must attend Cameron University the fall semester immediately following graduation from high school.
4. The recipient must enroll in a minimum of 12 hours per semester and must earn a minimum of 24 credit hours during each academic year.
5. The recipient must maintain a retention grade point average of 3.0.
