CU and Red River Technology Center Tuition Waiver

Cameron University Red River Technology Center Tuition Waiver Scholarships

First-time full-time freshman students who are Oklahoma residents and are identified by the appropriate Red River Technology Center official are eligible for the Red River Technology Tuition Waiver Scholarship. The Red River Technology Center will send a letter to Cameron University listing the names and mailing addresses of the students recommended for this scholarship. Once that information is received from the Red River Technology Center, a letter will be sent to each student offering them the scholarship.

The Red River Technology Tuition Waiver Scholarship is a $1000 tuition waiver, not to exceed a total of 2 semesters, and can be used in only in fall and spring semesters. Awarding and continuation of the tuition waiver are contingent upon the student achieving the academic and performance standards for the Red River Technology Center Tuition Waiver Scholarship.

The Red River Technology Center Tuition Waiver Scholarship is awarded to five Red River Technology Center students.

In the event the students nominated by the Red River Technology Center qualify for a larger tuition waiver scholarship at Cameron University, the student will receive the larger waiver instead the of the Red River Technology Center tuition waiver. In this instance, the Red River Technology Center may select another student to receive the waiver.

Students who qualified to receive the Red River Technology Center Tuition Waiver Scholarship must maintain the following academic performance standards to remain eligible to receive the scholarship:

• The student must enroll in a minimum of 12 hours per semester and must earn a minimum of 24 credit hours during the course of an academic year.

• Maintain a retention grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 at the end of the first semester.
