Charles Shelly Graybill, M.D. Endowed Scholarship in Pre-Medicine Studies

This scholarship was established in 2007 for full-time students pursuing a course of studies leading to acceptance at an accredited medical school. One scholarship is awarded annually with payments divided evenly between the two semesters of the school year. The scholarship’s selection and retention criteria includes the following:

- Recipient must be a sophomore or higher in classification
- Have a retention GPA of 3.5 or better
- Scholarship retention requires the student to remain enrolled full-time, maintain a 3.5 GPA or better, remain committed to a goal of acceptance at an accredited medical school, and continue making satisfactory progress toward degree completion
- Quality of academic performance and potential for acceptance to medical school will be more important than financial need
- The scholarship can be retained until degree completion but no student will receive more than six semesters of scholarship support
