Billy Slabaugh Endowed Scholarship in Chemistry

The purpose of this scholarship shall be to assist deserving full-time students enrolled at Cameron University. Selection for and retention of this scholarship shall be based on these criteria:

• Must be seeking a degree in Chemistry.
• Must be junior classification or higher and have a retention Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or better to receive the scholarship for the first semester of award.
• Once appointed, a recipient may retain the scholarship until degree completion if they remain a full-time student, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and continue making satisfactory progress toward degree completion in a chemistry program; however, no student will receive more than four semesters of scholarship support.
• Students from Southwest Oklahoma graduating from a high school of 100 or fewer graduating seniors shall be given priority for receipt of this scholarship.
