Regional University Baccalaureate Scholarship

Full tuition waiver and double room waiver scholarship plus cash stipend.

The Regional University Baccalaureate Scholarship is a full tuition waiver, a residence hall double room waiver, and a cash award of $1500 each semester, not to exceed a total of 8 semesters or completion of a baccalaureate degree. The cash award will be applied toward fees, the meal plan (if the student chooses to live in the residence hall), and required books. In the event there is a credit balance on the student’s account after these deductions the credit amount will be refunded to the recipient each semester. Awarding and continuation of the tuition waiver are contingent upon the student achieving the academic and performance standards for the Regional University Baccalaureate Scholarship.

Students who receive the Regional University Baccalaureate Scholarship must maintain the following academic performance standards to remain eligible to receive the scholarship:

• The student must enroll in a minimum of 12 hours per semester and must earn a minimum of 24 credit hours during the course of an academic year.

• Maintain a retention grade point average (GPA) of 3.25

• If the student’s retention GPA falls below 3.25, the tuition waiver will be revoked.

• Students who become ineligible can be reinstated (one time only) after their GPA is a 3.25 and their hours are made up. They have one year to do this. Semesters of ineligibility count towards the 8 semester total.

Students may request to use this scholarship in the summer. Students must have 24 hours completed for the year with a minimum grade point average of 3.25. Students enrolling in the summer must complete six hours of credit to remain eligible for support in the fall. The student is required to submit the form to the Oklahoma State Board of Regents requesting the funds for the summer semester no later than June 1 each summer. Students can receive $750 for the summer semester and it counts as ½ of a semester.

The Regional University Baccalaureate Scholarship is not transferable to another university.
