Freshman Scholarship

Tuition waiver

• $1,000 per year for up to four (4) years or completion of bachelor’s degree.
• Oklahoma resident
• HS graduate from current year
• No other college/university attended (concurrent excluded)
• 3.0 or higher high school GPA.

The Cameron University Freshman Scholarship is a $1,000 per academic year tuition waiver, renewable for four years, not to exceed a total of eight semesters or completion of a baccalaureate degree, and can be used only in the fall and spring semesters. Tuition waiver funds from this scholarship are not available in the summer semester. The student is responsible for all fees. Awarding and continuation of this award is contingent upon the recipient achieving and maintaining the following requirements:

1. The student must enroll full-time and complete 30 hours each academic year (fall, spring and summer).

2. Maintain a retention grade point average of 2.5.

3. Maintain continuous full-time enrollment (fall and spring).

If any of the requirements listed above are not met, the tuition waiver will be revoked and will not be reinstated.
