Delta Dental of OK Pre-Dentistry Endowed Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship shall be to assist deserving full-time students enrolled at Cameron University and pursuing a degree. The primary selection criteria to be considered are:

• Recipient must be a full-time regularly enrolled student at Cameron University

• Oklahoma Resident

• Must be classified as a sophomore or junior

• Must have declared pre-dentistry major/ track program or equivalent (Bachelor of Science in Biology/Chemistry)

• Recipient must have a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

• Must have a demonstrated financial need (FAFSA)

• Must not be an employee, board member, or immediate family member of an employee or board member of the Donor, Delta Dental of Oklahoma.

For those candidates who meet the selection criteria, priority consideration will be given to those:

• “Shadowing” of dental professionals

• Engaged in Community Service (especially dental-related)

• Participating in student pre-dental or science group/club/organization
