David A. Himes Endowed Memorial Scholarship

The primary purpose of the scholarship will be to provide financial assistance for educational expenses to a full-time enrolled undergraduate student majoring in Business who has a financial needs. The criterion for extreme financial need is that the student would not be able to attend the university without the assistance provided by the scholarship. It is intended that the scholarship funds be used by the recipient for necessary educational expenses such as tuition, fees, books, educational equipment, and educational supplies. Preference for selection will be given to students majoring in Finance if they otherwise meet the criterion of extreme financial need. Once selected, scholarship recipients may continue to receive the scholarship for successive semesters if their financial need remains extreme and if they are making satisfactory progress toward a degree.
