John Morris Poetry Prize

The purpose of the award shall be to annually recognize one or more outstanding undergraduate students of poetry at Cameron University. The award recipient(s) shall be determined through evaluation of submitted student works by a panel of judges appointed from the Department of English and Foreign Languages and, as requested, by creative writing faculty from other colleges and universities. The panel of judges shall be appointed by the Chair of the Department of English and Foreign Languages. The criteria for selection shall be announced in sufficient time to enable students who are interested in competing to respond.
