Legacy Admissions Non-Resident Shelper Center Double Room Waiver
We are thrilled that you have continued your family tradition of attending Cameron University and are living in campus housing. Legacy students whose residency is out-of-state and who qualify for a non-resident waiver through either the bordering states (Texas, Arkansas or New Mexico) non-resident waiver, the freshman non-resident waiver, or the transfer non-resident waiver qualify for a double room in Shepler Center (North or South Shepler). The Shepler Center complex consists of North Shepler Tower (All Male), South Shepler Tower (All Female) and the Shepler Center. The Shepler Center Towers offer single and double rooms.
We want to officially inform you for the Cameron Legacy Admission guidelines and what you must maintain order to remain eligible for the double room waiver in Shepler Center.
• Meet university admission, retention and satisfactory academic progress (SAP) standards. You can find the information regarding the policy for SAP at https://www.cameron.edu/financial_aid/sap
• Authorize the university to use their likeness in any marketing material
• Reside in university housing for the duration of the matriculated program
• Be in good standing with the university
• Enroll full-time each semester of attendance
• Complete 30 college credit hours per academic year (undergraduate)
If you qualify for a room waiver of equal or greater value from Cameron University, you will be awarded one room waiver or the room waiver of higher value. If you are already receiving a double room waiver, you are not eligible for another room waiver.
